Summary
Are you an Electronics Engineer with marine and offshore experience looking for something new? We are seeking a skilled Marine Electronics Engineer to join a leading electrical and mechanical service company in the North of Scotland. Your Role:
• Carry out repairs and maintenance on various marine equipment onshore and offshore.
• Perform surveys and inspections on ships, including radio surveys and VDR performance tests.
• Support the Senior Engineer in servicing and installing marine electronics.
• Take on other tasks as needed while working independently and demonstrating strong communication skills.
• Be comfortable working outdoors and at heights when required.
Your Qualifications/Experience:
• A proven background in the marine sector, ideally in electronics or electrical engineering.
• A formal qualification in electronics, such as HNC/HND level or NVQ3.
• Familiarity with communication systems like Radar, Gyro compass, VHF & MF/HF Radio, and GPS navigation systems.
• Availability to work on weekends or out-of-hours occasionally.
• A valid UK driving licence and passport are required.

• This is a full-time permanent role based in Aberdeen with occasional travel across the UK and overseas. A company vehicle is provided.
