Hospital visits can be stressful and daunting, so you will be a great communicator with strong customer service skills to put our patients at ease, treating them with tact and empathy Ensuring all administrative processes and enquiries are dealt with in an efficient and timely manner. Typical tasks that you will complete are: Proof reading clinical letters (please note there is no audio typing in this role) Monitoring waiting times, ensuring that our patients treatment pathways, from referral to treatment are accurate and up to date (you can find out more on what this means here: NHS England Referral to treatment) Booking appointments from waiting lists when required Liaising with other specialities, Health Care Professionals and Health Services Assisting and supporting other members of the Administrative team across the department or division, including dealing with telephone calls and resolving enquiries for patients, their carers and visitors.
