Job description

We’re looking for an experienced and highly motivated Senior IT Technician to join our based in the Tewkesbury Head Office, with some travel to our depots across the country.

This role is pivotal to the company’s success, and we are committed to providing a competitive package that reflects the candidate's skills and responsibilities.

As the Senior IT Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance to our IT systems, hardware, and software. Your responsibilities will include:

Ensuring the stability and integrity of all IT systems, including servers and network infrastructure
Providing technical support and troubleshooting for all IT related issues
Maintaining and monitoring all computer networks and hardware
Installing, configuring, and testing new software and hardware
Developing and maintaining comprehensive documentation for all IT systems
Providing technical advice and guidance to colleagues

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Level 4 / 5 or equivalent qualification in ICT, Business and Project Management
At least 2 years’ experience in a similar position
Extensive knowledge and experience with Windows 365 systems and server administration

SQL Database Management; demonstrable Visual Basic and C# knowledge or certification
Experience with network administration, hardware, and software
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think quickly and logically
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
The ability to work independently and as part of a team
