Summary

Role:

We are looking for a higher-level teaching assistant to work with students age 4 - 11.

Responsibilities:
- Planning lessons and activities for whole class learning and group learning.
- Possibly supervising on lunch and break times
- Supporting and managing teaching assistants within the classroom
- Building relationships with staff and pupils
- Supporting children and young adults who may require 1:1 support
- Collecting evidence of pupils work to support their assessments.
- Feedback to the relevant member of staff about the pupil's progress
- Potentially lead in a subject area
- Ensure a team approach to education with stakeholders such as parents and carers



Requirements:
- Experience essential
- Happy to work with very challenging behaviours
- Happy to cover lessons and work as a TA
- Working with physical and verbal behaviours
- People with experience working in a provision are good for this role.
- Have the ability and knowledge to teach Secondary school pupils.
- Be highly organised with excellent communication skills.
- Have a desire to work with, inspire and support children from all needs and backgrounds.
- Have excellent behaviour management skills.
- Understand the expectations against the Teachers Standards
