Summary

SEN specialist Tutor: Doncaster

At TP Tutors we have an exciting opportunity to support young children with a variety of needs in Doncaster. You will need to support students SEMH needs as well as their core subject skills. Referrals are for students in KS3 and KS4.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about working with children and helping them become the best they can. The role involves working with children outside of mainstream settings such as the home.

This tutor role involves:
- Plan, create and teach engaging sessions.
- Track progress and plan next steps.
- Inspire children to achieve.
- Be aware of the child's needs and interests and plan to this accordingly.
- Implement behaviour strategies to ensure children are focussed.

The role is based in the Doncaster area, which is easily accessible via car or public transport and has links with other towns nearby. The location is dependent on the situation of the child, but this will be clarified before starting.

To be successful in your application, you must be able to provide evidence of this as skills and experience.

Please be aware that all applicants will be subject to background checks and will need a current DBS certificate (update service registered). Teaching Personnel can support your application should this be required.

Working hours are between Monday to Friday, 8.30am-3.30pm approximately, but you may be offered additional duties and responsibilities outside of these hours.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
