Our client is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Team Leader to join their team on a permanent basis. Working within the horticultural industry, this is an opportunity to be part of a fantastic growing company.
This role requires travelling daily to various locations, with some overnight stays.
Leading a small team on various exciting projects throughout the UK, you will have a variety of responsibilities which will include:
- Liaising with client and site staff - so excellent communication skills are a must!
- Team management including monitoring hours and reporting
- Planning the logistics of jobs
- Ensuring all materials, labour and equipment are ready.
- Preparation of risk assessment
- Health and safety responsibilities
- Providing regular updates to the management team.
- Ensuring equipment and machinery is always fit for purpose.
What you will require to be successful:
- Flexibility for additional or varied hours, including overnight stays and working away from home
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varied weather conditions
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Numerate and articulate
- Driving license essential
