Summary

Interested in supporting staff with developing practical hands-on skills that they require to be safe and effective in their roles? Then we are very pleased to be able to offer this opportunity to join our Mandatory and Essential Skills Training team.

While we are looking for someone who has some experience of teaching or training, this role does not necessarily require a background in education as you will be working with an established team. It would suit someone with a flexible and naturally curious approach who is looking for a training and development role that directly supports delivery of healthcare services.

A good candidate will demonstrate the ability to engage, support, motivate and lead others to deliver high quality care.

An excellent candidate will be able to demonstrate their professionalism and innovative attitude to challenges in the workplace, and a commitment to empowering others.

Not sure if this is the right next step for you? Please do contact us if you would like to discuss before submitting your application

• To ensure the effective use of the Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) to delivery, record, and track learning.

Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust is a health and social care organisation dedicated to providing high-quality care with compassion to improve the health and wellbeing of the people we care for, as well as supporting and empowering them to lead a fulfilling life.

Our clinical teams deliver many NHS services, not only via inpatient and primary care settings, but also within the community. These services include children's, adult and older people's mental health, forensic and specialist mental health, learning disabilities, primary care and liaison psychiatry, substance misuse, social care, research and development.

To achieve our goal, we look to recruit high-calibre candidates who share our vision and values. As an equal opportunities employer, we encourage applications from all sectors of the community, particularly from under-represented groups including people with long term conditions and members of our ethnic minority and LGBTQ+ communities.
