Summary

Are you a Support Worker experienced in assisting adults with autism and/or learning disabilities? Are you eager to progress in your career? Discovery is currently recruiting for a Lead Support Worker to join our team at Orchard Bungalow in Taunton.

About the Role:

At Orchard Bungalow, we provide support for five individuals to live independently. Our residents enjoy outings to town, shopping trips, family visits, and church activities. If you have a passion for gardening, you'll feel right at home - our expansive garden is perfect for growing vegetables and plants, an activity our residents love to participate in.

As a Lead Support Worker, your main focus is ensuring the happiness and fulfillment of those we support, while also providing guidance and support to your colleagues to deliver exceptional care.

Your responsibilities will include supporting individuals to live life on their own terms, helping them achieve personal goals, and assisting with tasks such as medication management, organizing health appointments, meal preparation, and personal care. You'll also offer emotional support, encouragement, and reassurance whenever needed.
