Requirements:
- Vast experience in a warehouse/logistical environment.
- 2 years minimum FLT experience (Reach, CB, TLT)
- Ability to follow instructions, processors such as health and safety protocol
- A great level of spoken and written English
- Access to your own vehicle
Responsibilities:
As an Warehouse Operative/Forklift driver, you will:
- Operating Forklifts: Safely maneuvering various types of forklifts to move materials and products around the warehouse or production area.
- Loading and Unloading: Using the forklift to load and unload trucks, trailers, and storage areas, ensuring that items are handled with care to prevent damage.
- Inventory Management: Assisting with inventory control by accurately recording the movement of materials and products, including receiving, storing, and distributing items as needed.
- Safety Compliance: Adhering to safety protocols and procedures at all times to prevent accidents or injuries, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to traffic regulations within the facility.
- Equipment Maintenance: Conducting routine checks and inspections on forklifts to ensure they are in good working condition, reporting any maintenance or repair needs to supervisors promptly.
- Communication: Collaborating with colleagues, supervisors, and other departments to coordinate the efficient movement of materials and products, communicating any issues or concerns that may arise during operations.
