Summary

Job Title: Personal Assistant
Location: Horsham
Hourly rate: £12.00
Reference: DP7390
Hours/shifts : Two 4 hour shifts in every 4 weeks (ideally every other weekend but days and times by mutual agreement plus additional 4 hours a week (again actual days and times by mutual agreement) in school holidays.


Summary
My 8-year-old son is a very happy, energetic and active boy who is nonverbal.
He loves being outdoors so playing in the park and adores bubbles.
He also enjoys swimming and softplay.
I am looking for a patient and kind PA to support my son engaging him in activities he enjoys in the local community and also on occasion to support at home.
Tasks will include some personal care and keeping my son safe.
This is a rewarding role with all professional training provided.
Other Requirements
• Non-smoker preferred or someone who is willing to refrain from smoking during work hours.
• A UK driving licence and access to own vehicle is essential

Successful applicants will be entitled to Holiday pay and will be issued employment contracts.
Description
Typical duties

Personal Care:
• Dressing and undressing.
• Supervision and prompting around toileting and hand washing


Social:
• Help my son to develop his speech and language skills and social skills
• Engage with my son in my home and in the local community in activities he enjoys and keep him safe.

The successful applicant will be:

Previous experience preferred but this is not as essential as a kind and common sense approach to these roles.
