Teacher of Design and Technology (Resistant Materials)

1FTE (fixed term, maternity cover with possibility of subsequent permanent post)

We are currently seeking to appoint a Teacher of Design Technology, to join our enthusiastic and dedicated team. The successful applicant will be an inspirational forward thinker with a focus on developing exciting and engaging learning experiences and have a belief in our ‘can do’ culture where anything is possible. ECTs are welcome to apply.



It is a very exciting time to join our school and Trust as our brand new, state of the art school rebuild is due for completion in Summer 2024. DT will have an outstanding suite of rooms and a faculty office in the new building. The team comprises of three specialist teachers and two dedicated technicians who are all passionate about ensuring our students have a fantastic experience in this important suite of subjects. The department has a well structured curriculum where all staff are invited to contribute. The department currently offers GCSE or equivalent in Graphic Design; Resistant Materials and Food prep and nutrition. It also offers Product Design at A Level.



Kineton High School is an oversubscribed, diverse mixed 11-18 comprehensive with approximately 1040 pupils on roll (120 in the Sixth Form). Our aim at Kineton is to put students at the heart of everything. We want them to develop the confidence, skills and qualifications to ensure that they are happy and successful.
