Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to join a UK leading business in their industry that are looking for an Events Administrator to join their friendly team in Stonehouse on a full-time, permanent basis.

In this role, you will be supporting the Training, Events and Fundraising team in all elements of administration to support their busy events and training calendar. Prior administration experience is essential for this role. This role will very occasionally require out of hours work/overnight stays, however, you will receive time in lieu for any additional hours worked.

Key tasks
-Set up exams/courses on system, schedule events, and write instructions.
-Communicate with delegates, handling special requests as needed.
-Coordinate with trainers/examiners for course delivery and delegate requirements.
-Prepare materials and delegate packs, keep them updated, and order materials as needed.
-Coordinate with venues for logistics, including dietary needs and room setup.
-Prepare venue for in-house courses, welcome delegates, and arrange catering.
-Manage enquiries and maintain communication via phone and email.
-Process course bookings, set up conferences and handle invoicing when necessary.
-Organise paperwork and enroll attendees in online learning courses.
-Maintain calendar and visit potential venues.
-Occasionally set up Zoom trainings, handle scheduling, surveys, reminders, and recordings.
-Relevant reporting.
-Prepare conference materials, signage, registration lists, and badges.
-Process relevant expenses.
-Provide on-site support during conferences for speaker, exhibitor, delegate, and staff liaison.

Key Attributes
-Previous office administration experience.
-Attention to detail.
-Proactive, self-starter.
-Ability to keep up with a fast-paced environment.
-Computer literate to include Microsoft Excel.
-Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Hours: Monday – Friday: 37.5h per week (flexible start/finish times)

Salary: Up to £24,000 per annum
