As part of our continued growth, we now have a fantastic opportunity for a Assistant Headteacher to join our close-knit team at Red Kite School located in Princes Risborough.


About the role

To provide a high quality education service for our learners in accordance with Company policies, procedures and practices and the standards set by the Regulatory Body. To work with the Head Teacher, Deputy Head Teacher, leadership team and other stakeholders to secure high standards throughout the school.

Key task areas and responsibilities

To lead on developing the quality of Teaching, Learning and Assessment (TLA); including but not limited to implementing and developing effective assessment systems, informative and enriching curriculums, outstanding outcomes and personal development
Supporting and developing good to outstanding teachers, ensuring teaching is good/outstanding
To be responsible for progress and support of Key Stages
To be responsible for a specific curriculum or pastoral responsibility, as required to fulfil the school development plan and that supports teaching and learning
To carry out teaching duties in accordance with the school’s schemes of work and National Curriculum
To meet, in full, the Professional Standards for Teachers
To model and promote good practice in teaching and learning
To contribute to and help implement developments that relate to the School Development Plan
Required

Must be able to teach core subjects (Maths, English, and Science)
