Summary
Relief PA, 10 hours per week, optional nights, acting as relief to cover holidays and/or sickness, so the applicant may be called upon to work less than the specified hours.
A cheery elderly lady in the Pontyates area looking for a personal assistant, to support with various health and mobility issues, a Welsh speaker but happy to communicate in English.
She lives with her daughter-in-law and son occupying a ground floor room with access to toilet and kitchen.
She has Multiple Sclerosis which causes weakness and shaking on her right side. She walks with a stroller but only for very short distances - from her chair or bed to the toilet and the kitchen. She is unable to do any more than to make herself a cup of tea using the one cup boiler.
She is diabetic and has angina, both of which are controlled with medication, which she accesses via daily pill trays.
A Disclosure Barring Service Check (DBS) / criminal record check will require to be undertaken for this post. This will be completed on acceptance of job offer
