Summary

About The Role

At OCS Group, we are recruiting for Cleaning Operative who can support and assist the responsible manager to maintain a safe and clean environment and to assure that the company standards and policies are followed and maintained. You will be working on a variable shift pattern, 08:00 to 20:00, on a permanent part-time basis; that covers 30 hours per week. Main Duties and Responsibilities :
  • Emptying all external bins & ashtrays and all entranceways
  • Sweeping, tidying, and litter picking of all car parks, pedestrian routes, seating areas, and roadways
  • Cleaning, maintaining all equipment and glazing - as required
  • Clean, sweep, and tidy the recycling area
  • Mop disinfect and carry out all duties in toilet areas and sweep, tidy, and empty all bins in the Service areas/ Access Corridors.
  • Complete all waste and recycling processing
  • Use patrol monitor (diester) system to assist with accident and incident control and prevention.
  • To ensure all work is carried out in a safe, proper and thorough manner taking into account Health and safety legislation, Incentive FM policies and procedures, risk assessments and method statements
  • Maintain confidentiality in all aspects of client and staff information.
  • Report anything in need of repair or replacement to the appropriate person
  • Keep your cleaning area and space clean and tidy at all time and your cleaning materials safely stored.
  • Be prepared to receive and undertake further training as required.
Skills and Experience :
  • Experience in working and building partnerships with clients and working within a cleaning environment.
  • IOSH trained desirable and knowledge of COSHH.
  • IT literacy skills in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Articulate and can communicate effectively with the clients and the IFM teams.
  • Organised individual who can demonstrate a record of planning and managing workflows.
  • Able to demonstrate an understanding of high-quality service delivery and its impact.
  • The ability to be agile and flexible to meet the needs and demands of the role.
  • Excellent time management organisation and focus on the ability to prioritise and multi-task with a clear ability to focus on detail
