Are you an experienced leader in the care industry looking for your next step?

ECL are looking for a Day Centre Lead Manager to take on the leadership of our Saffron Walden Day Centre.

You will join a team of highly skilled specialists at our Saffron Walden day centre, overseeing and developing day service with community-based support for adults with learning disabilities and/or autism. With direct line management responsibility of the Day Centre Manager and a team of Support Workers, you will act as a mentor for your team whilst delivering a safe and effective service. You will be a strong leader, championing our goal of helping people live as independently as possible in their local community.

Experience running a high-quality service in line with budgets and delivering excellent results, alongside an aptitude for networking with internal and external stakeholders will equip you for supporting the innovation and transformation of our services.

With working hours of 08:30-16:30 Monday-Friday, this role offers flexibility and genuine work-life balance.

About You

To be considered as Day Centre Lead Manager you need:

Managerial experience within the care sector
To be educated or willing to work towards QCF Diploma or NVQ Level 5 in relevant area.
Business and financial knowledge, and experience managing budgets.
Excellent and proven knowledge of Learning Disabilities Services
Demonstrable skills in supervising and monitoring employee performance
Leadership skills, including coaching and mentoring.
Prioritising, planning and organisation.
Experience building positive stakeholder relationships.
A full valid driving licence and vehicle to travel.
