Company: My client is a large civil company with over £140M turnover each year with lots of exciting projects. Sectors include Water, Energy, Defence, Oil & Gas. They have many exciting projects up and coming and are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their team.
About the Role:
As a key member of our team, you'll be at the heart of our operations, managing contracts and ensuring everything runs smoothly. Your day-to-day work will involve:
- Contract Management: Mastery over NEC contracts is a must.
- Financial Reporting & Valuations: Keeping track of the numbers and ensuring accurate reporting.
- Subcontractor Management: From procurement to paymeent.
- Cost Value Reconciliations (CVR's): You'll analyse project profitability and forecast outcomes.
- Cash Flow Management: Keeping a keen eye on the inflows and outflows.
- Dispute Resolution: Your negotiation skills will be key in resolving any issues amicably.
- Final Account Preparation & Audits: Ensuring all financials are in order for the successful completion of projects.
