Summary
The purpose of your role as a Management Accountant for this amazing organisation is to provide useful and timely information to support the organisation's performance and make important decisions. You will also be responsible for preparing and analysing financial information, ensuring accuracy.
Your new role:
Your new role will include Accounting and Reporting duties, Planning, Internal Audit and General duties:
- Identify and propose any adjusting journals, for review by the Finance Accountant
- Incorporating all corrections and changes to produce a final version for distribution to the Chief Executive, SLT and the Board.
- Finalise the monthly management accounts and share information with colleagues as appropriate.
- Produce and issue the weekly performance graphs.
- Assist the Finance and Resource Director with the annual budgeting process.
- Assist the Finance and Resource Director with the bi-annual re-forecasting process and all strategic planning activities.
What you'll need to succeed
- AAT qualified and/or ACCA/CIMA part-qualified.
- Previous experience of working in a finance department or in a finance role
- Highly proficient Microsoft Excel/spreadsheet skills
- Experience in Access Gamma, desirable but not essential.
- Be able to effectively communicate with non-financial managers.
- The ability to work in a hands-on manner in a busy environment.
