Summary

This position is responsible for building and maintaining a temporary staffing desk. To actively participate in new business generation to ensure the sales targets are met.

Responsibilities:

• Recruit and place health care assistants into temporary and permanent positions within community settings.
• Support the set up and maintain community care packages alongside the Community team.
• Respond to the initial enquiry and liaising with team to gather information.
• Maintain existing business and support building upon this by actively seeking new business to ensure there are enough care packages to oversee.
• Liaise with clients and staff on a weekly and monthly basis to ensure staff rotas and contracts run efficiently. Ensure staff files are up to date and complete according to regulatory requirements i.e. CQC regulations.

• Support the building and maintaining of existing business within a certain area by filling requirements from clients.
• Expand the business within a chosen area by canvassing, gaining new leads, sales calls, arranging and attending client meetings to gain new business.
• Liaise with Case Managers, Solicitors, Social workers to discuss the company’s services and to offer a tailored package to suit the clients needs.
• Visit clients to discuss any issues in relation to the care packages that you support.
• Establish and maintain care packages by sourcing the relevant staff who have suitable skills and experience, to oversee the package along with the MDT.
• Support the community clients support packages to ensure they run smoothly, dealing with any issues that arise.
• Implement any changes to staff or additional changes which need to be implemented to ensure they run smoothly in conjunction with the client.
• Attend client visits to discuss any issues or concerns.
• Work towards KPI’s, targets and objectives on a daily / weekly / monthly basis
• Establish where there is a need for recruiting new staff, to recruit and advertise in accordance with the branch administrator and the branch budget.
• Interview perspective health care assistants as part of the recruitment process.
• Carry out supervision and appraisals for field staff.
