Summary

Connect Appointments are looking for a skilled Computer Refurb Operator to join our client's team in East Kilbride.

Shifts Pattern: Monday to Friday, 7:45am to 3:45pm

Pay rates: £11.44 per hour (rising based on experience/tenure). Weekend overtime paid at 1.5 times.

As a Computer Refurb Operator, you will be responsible for confidently identifying key components of a system/laptop such as HDDs/SSDs, RAM, and CPUs, navigating a windows-based workstation to use the client database, access emails, and carry out various miscellaneous tasks, meeting hourly and daily targets, and effectively managing your workload to achieve this.

Duties and Responsibilities of a Computer Refurb Operator:

  • Identify and repair computer hardware and software issues
  • Provide technical support to clients and colleagues
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot computer problems
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs and servicing
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures
  • Maintain a clean and organised work-space
  • Maximise productivity; multitasking while maintaining concentration and accuracy

Computer Refurb Operator skills and requirements:

  • Technical minded and computer literate
  • Ability to pay excellent attention to detail and maintain excellent accuracy when dealing with numbers
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced warehouse environment
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
