Summary

Are you interested in a rewarding role supporting women on their mental health recovery journey in the community? Are you interested to join an experienced team ensuring a pathway of support for women ensuring maximum independence while enabling 24/7 support in central based accommodation.

We are seeking an individual who has a genuine passion in the social care sector and is seeking to work in services that have recovery based and trauma informed approaches. We have been offering a range of services in these site for over three decades and we are proud to be known to deliver flexible and high quality support. There are a vibrant array of support days based on women’s preferences for social support and when required we use a risk management approach which is bespoke to each person we work with.

You will be part of a wider senior team in South Locality and receive a high level of support, bespoke training and regular supervision to ensure you have the support, knowledge and skills needed. You will have the opportunity to work with other professionals in the sector in this role as you are very closely involved in service user’s day to day lives and support needs.
You will be supported with flexibility, team work and interesting career opportunities.

Essential skills for this role are: Commitment and caring approach; Calm and clear leadership skills; excellent communication, assessment skills and ability to make decisions in an open and accountable way; a commitment to ensuring women with mental health needs get the services they require, ability to promote independence for women, a strong listener.
