Job Description:
Owen Payne are currently seeking a dedicated Yardman to join our team. This will be working for our prestigious client based in Wolverhampton who are manufacturers of worksurfaces specializing in the fabrication of granite, marble, quartz, and ultra-compact surfaces, using high-quality materials from leading brands.
Duties:
• Check, unload, and book in all deliveries.
• Manage stone locations and clearly label all stone stock.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and stock accuracy.
• Pick stone against pick sheets for production.
• Manage offcuts and checking matching to new jobs to improve material margins.
• All training on Precision Stone processes will be provided.
Skills:
• Experience of stock control
• Computer skills
• Crane licence
• Forklift licence
The candidate would need to have experience in –
• Gantry crane licence.
• Forklift licence.
• Manual handling skills and safety
Hours:
• 35 hours a week – working hours are 7:00 till 14:30
Pay:
• £13.00 per hour
