Summary


An exciting opportunity has risen for a Band 6 or 7 midwife with more than 3 years’ experience and who is clinically shrewd, organised and embraces working as part of the multi-disciplinary team.

The post holder will be able to:
• Provide and lead specialist midwifery practice in the development, coordination, of clinical Audits, processes evidence to support safe, effective high quality maternity care.
• Provide multidisciplinary clinical staff with the support to effectively implement clinical audits across all its component parts for maternity services, within a framework.
• Should be able to use information to improve the systems of care and evidence to support effective outcomes.
• Will manage and work closely with GAP GROW Lead Midwife to meet Saving Babies Lives Care Bundle version 3 requirements.

The post holder will have a key role in ensuring the progress of Women’s services towards standardisation of all clinical audits developing and review guidelines for Maternity service in liaison with multi- disciplinary colleagues.

Clinical audit is an integral part of Barts Health clinical governance activity and contributes to achieving the Trust’s objective of providing safe and evidence- based care to women that access our services.
