Summary


SENIOR RECOVERY PRACTITIONER RN/ODP (Band 6)

Are you looking for a challenge to work in a dynamic perioperative environment?

This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills and make a difference to perioperative patient care.

We are looking for experienced, enthusiastic and self-motivated staff for Recovery Area at the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre . You will be expected to have at least 2 years of extensive experience acute are and/ or recovery. Applicants must have excellent communication, influencing and leadership skills and thrive in a busy team environment. You will be encouraged and supported to further develop using the educational and experiential learning opportunities available. A structured orientation programme will support your development with the support of your team leader and the education team, to facilitate career development and progression.

You will be expected to have extensive experience in your area of theatre practice. Applicants must have excellent communication, influencing and leadership skills and to thrive in a busy team environment. You will be encouraged and supported to further develop using the educational and experiential learning opportunities available. There is a structured orientation programme to support your development and you will be supported by your team leader and the education team.

We are acknowledged as being a friendly, small and welcoming team working in a supportive environment. We offer a supernumerary period within Recovery & NECA theatres, a designated mentor to support you and a comprehensive competency package to provide structure and facilitate learning.

This department provides Monday to Saturday cover; therefore there will be shift work, night duty and Saturday morning.
