Summary
Here at Edinburgh Woollen Mill we have a fantastic opportunity for a Assistant Print Designer to join our Design team within our Buying & Merchandising department.

This rol e will provide assistance to the Design Team to create and develop appropriate print designs aligned to a customer and product development strategy as part of a design team.
Key Responsibilities
1) To create print designs interpreting appropriate trends and sales strategic information to meet range plan requirements and to design brief and critical path deadline dates.
2) To research, help assist and put together trend boards/colour palettes as part of the design team.
3) To assist efficiently in the development of product for sampling.
4) To assist in the coordination of print development, ensuring that print artworks are issued in line with the critical path deadlines and thus prototype examples are available for final sign-off.
5) To create prints and update them as necessary for relevant meetings.
6) To fully utilise the CAD system in line with best practice and training.
7) To become fully aware of the EWM customer priorities.
8) To be a team player and able to work in a busy fast paced environment.
