The school:

Springwell Community College is an 11-16 Secondary School in Staveley, North East Derbyshire. Our aim at Springwell is to deliver a great Education to our students. We expect our students to work hard and every day towards these and be kind to each other, themselves and their community.



The role:

This exciting and fast paced role will work with families, external agencies and colleagues to respond to, support, and implement student and family engagement strategies as part of the early help offer. This will then in turn enable the barriers faced by young people to achieving positive attendance patterns at school to be overcome.




The person:

The successful applicant will have experience of working with young people in a variety of settings and with vulnerable families / young people who experience challenging circumstances. To secure the role you will need to understand the barriers to learning and attending school which are faced by young people and how they can be overcome.

As this role includes home visits, a full driving licence and access to a vehicle for business use is also required.
