Summary

Job Title: Personal Assistant

Hourly rate: £11.50 per hour

Hours/shifts: Morning shifts, 9.5 hours per week. Exact days and times to be discussed at interview, preferably 4 x 2 hour shifts in the week and 1x 1.5 hour shift at the weekend.



Summary

I am a young lady with a physical disability, who has recently graduated from studying Fashion Design at University. I am currently looking for work and need a personal assistant to support me at home getting ready in the mornings. This might include tasks such as assisting me to pack my bag, making sandwiches, tying my hair up, assisting with dressing, makeup and jewellery and tidying up.

I am looking for a personal assistant who is patient, and able to wait for and then follow my instructions.

Successful applicants will be entitled to Holiday pay and will be issued employment contracts.
Description
Typical duties
Domestic -
General cleaning and tidying
Preparing drinks, snacks and meals.
Any other reasonable task


Personal care –

Assistance with washing and applying cream to back.
Assistance with hair and makeup
Dressing
General hair/skin care
Person specification
The successful applicant will be:
• Female * due to personal care needs
• Flexible, reliable, honest
• Patient
• Able to speak and read English to a reasonable standard
• Legally permitted to work in the United Kingdom
• Able to work at all times to high standards of Health & Safety
Previous experience preferred but this is not as essential as a kind and common sense approach to these roles.
