Summary

We are seeking to appoint a Midday Meals Supervisor (MMS) to join our team to support children at lunchtime. The role requires the supervision of, and interaction with, pupils across the school to ensure their wellbeing, safety and an enjoyable dining and lunchtime experience.

The post is for 7.5 hours per week. You will be required to work from 12.00pm to 13.30pm, Monday to Friday, Term Time only (38 weeks per year). The pay scale is set at Kent Range 3 (£22,071 for a full-time post) with an actual salary of approximately £3,782 per annum. In addition the postholder will receive a payment in respect of their pro rata entitlement to Annual Leave appropriate to their grade.

A formal interview will take place with a panel comprising the MMS line manager and the HR Officer.

This post is subject to an Enhanced Disclosure Application to the Disclosure and Barring Service and a check against the ISA Barred List for Children, two satisfactory references and right to work in the UK documentation. All new employees to the school, including those with previous local government service, shall be subject to a 6 month probationary period.
