Summary

About The Role

At OCS Group, we are recruiting for an experienced Post Room Assistant, who will be handling health and safety, system management, security and screening of packages, manual handling, and customer service. You will be working Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 14:00, on a permanent full-time basis; 30 hours per week. Main Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Booking in and receiving parcels/letters
  • Dealing with internal and external stakeholders
  • Managing and directing parcels with large couriers and product/courier deliveries
  • Assisting the Facilities Co-Ordinator with meeting room layout - opening/closing room dividers, moving tables and chairs
  • Administrative tasks, such as photocopying, filing, and maintaining records - for instance, of special deliveries or the circulation of specific items
Requirements :
  • Have previous experience in a post room/facilities environment and able to work alongside manual handling guidelines
  • Be flexible as this is essential for this role, no two days are the same
  • Must have a can-do attitude and be able to hit the ground running
  • Excellent communication, listening, and customer service skills
  • Able to follow instructions and work on own initiative
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a targeted environment
  • Good dexterity and computer literate
