Summary
The post holder will work alongside the Clinical Lead and Team Manager to help support the delivery of psychological support across the service. They will be responsible for assessment, treatment and systematic outcome measurement and provide clinical supervision of staff. The post holder will be accountable for their own professional actions and will work within professional ethics & NELFT NHS Trust Policies.As a senior clinician within the service, you will bring highly developed knowledge of specialist therapeutic assessment, formulation and intervention skills and specific knowledge and expertise in psychological interventions.This post would suit someone with a strong interest in working with young people who present with complexity and significant levels of distress, working with the wider systems including education, social care and family/carers. This post is eligible for the Trust 'Welcome to NELFT' Payment, a lump sum of 10% of agreed basic salary (pro rata if part time and exclusive of HCAS payments) (subject to a minimum of £4,000 and maximum of £10,000) and is open to all new applicants who are successfully appointed. Payment of the incentive is 50% of the lump sum at the end of the probationary period (typically six months) and then 50% at the end of year two.
