Summary

Sales Executive | Daventry | 37 hours per week - Monday to Thursday 9am-5pm, Friday 9am-4:30pm, with the option of ½ day Friday once a month by working extra 30 mins a day that week | Up to £26,000, commensurate with experience and performance

Our client is a leading provider of batteries and accessories, catering to sectors such as two-way radios, military, medical, and more. With a global reach, they pride themselves on innovation and excellence.

In this role, your primary mission is to bolster our client’s existing Account Managers and Sales Order Processing function while maintaining your own portfolio of valued customers.

What will your role look like?

Efficient Sales Administration: Keep the Director up to speed with meticulous sales admin tasks, including generating quotes, issuing proforma invoices, and ensuring timely follow-ups. Your goal: To ensure utmost satisfaction for the company’s overseas and key clients
Customer Relationship Management: Foster enduring relationships with existing customers by understanding their needs and preferences, thereby driving retention, growth, and sales conversion
Reconnect with Potential Customers: Tap into the database to rekindle relationships with past customers. Understand their current purchasing habits and explore how the company’s products can meet their evolving needs, aiming to regain market share
Rapid Response to Queries: Promptly address any concerns raised by the Managing Director to mitigate potential business loss, demonstrating agility and reliability
Lead Generation: Engage with potential clients sourced from various channels, providing them with a compelling overview of the company’s offerings to expand their market reach
Continuous Product Feedback: Keep the Product Marketing team informed with accurate insights on market trends, competitor analysis, and customer preferences to facilitate informed decision-making
Efficient Sales Closure: Follow up diligently on sales quotes and customer inquiries, ensuring maximum efficiency and professionalism to drive successful closures
Knowledge Sharing: Contribute actively to sales meetings by sharing insights gleaned from customer interactions, fostering a culture of knowledge exchange within the team
Market Intelligence Gathering: Stay abreast of industry trends by collecting competitor price lists, promotional materials, and product samples, enabling us to make strategic marketing decisions
Administrative Excellence: Maintain impeccable records and ensure timely follow-up through letters, quotes, and other communication channels to uphold organisational standards of professionalism
