Summary
We are working with a leading building consultancy who are seeking a Facade Technician with experience performing on site inspections and surveys to join their team based in Manchester. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in assessing, analyzing, and enhancing the performance of facades across a range of residential and commercial projects.
Responsibilities for the Facade Technician:
- Conduct thorough on-site inspections and surveys of building facades, assessing their condition, performance, and compliance with design specifications and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate closely with project teams, architects, engineers, and contractors to address facade-related issues and ensure timely resolution.
- Use your technical expertise to evaluate facade materials, systems, and construction methods
Requirements for the Facade Technician:
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in facade consultancy or related field, with a strong emphasis on site inspections and surveys.
- Proven track record of conducting comprehensive facade assessments and producing detailed reports.
- Sound knowledge of facade materials, construction techniques, and regulatory standards.
The salary for the facade technician will vary between £40k and £50k, depending on experience.
