Creative Support is a national, fast growing not-for-profit organisation providing support to individuals with a wide range of care needs. We are currently looking to add a Support Worker to our team in Barrow-in-Furness, Cumbria.

We are looking for a friendly Support Worker to provide personalised support to adults with a learning disability living at our supported living service in Barrow, Cumbria. You will have a can-do approach with the acknowledgement of positive behaviour support to ensure all service users can enjoy the highest quality of life and promote independence.

Support Worker Duties:
- Be willing to work flexibly according to the needs of the service, to include both days, nights and weekends on a rota basis
- Respect and promote the rights and entitlements of people with learning disabilities, challenging behaviours and physical disabilities and to enable them to participate as fully as possible in their communities and to maintain community connections
- To provide respectful personal care in accordance with the needs, wishes and preferred routines outlined in the individual’s personal support plans
- To support service users in maintaining the safety, security, cleanliness and comfort of their homes
- To be responsive to changing needs and preferences of service users

Experience is desirable, but not essential for this role. We are seeking individuals with the right values who are keen to make a positive difference to the lives of all service users in Barrow, Cumbria. Being a car driver is also desirable but not essential requirement of this role.
