The HICA Group is currently expanding our experienced team at The Wolds Care Centre with new opportunities for enthusiastic, motivated and passionate individuals to join us as End-Of-life Support Workers.
The company is unable to sponsor the employment of international workers in this role. You will be required to provide evidence of your right to work in the UK.
Pay & Hours:
Rate of pay: £12.00 per hour
Hours of work: 24 - 44 hours per week
Shift pattern: Mornings, afternoons & evenings, as well as weekend shifts available. Full & Part time roles considered. Working to a rota covering 7 days per week (every other weekend).
At The Wolds Care Centre, we aim to provide high standards of care and support for all our residents, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, treating them individually with dignity and respect, based on their own personal needs or requirements. Our flagship service, with separate specialist dementia, nursing and residential communities, boasts a spacious garden area and modern facilities including a cinema, café and hairdressers.

The Role:
This role has been specifically created to support the nurses with end of care plans as well as providing the necessary support to residents at the end stages of life.
About you:
We are looking for caring people to join our lovely team at The Wolds Care Centre in Louth, who are;
Previous experience of providing End of Life Care
Previous experience of writing End of Life Care plans
Working towards or holds a relevant NVQ level 2 in Health & Social Care
Able to organise and manage workload and prioritise duties.
Able to interact with residents professionally and respectfully.

The Wolds Care Centre is a 66 bed Care Home situated on North Holme Road in Louth. The home provides a home for life within its specialist dementia, nursing and residential care communities. All bedrooms are spacious, boasting their own en-suite with wet room and each room is furnished to a high standard. Residents and their families are invited to personalise their rooms, creating their own unique environment, reflecting the individuality of the occupier.
The HICA Group is a ‘Not for Profit’ organisation providing a range of care services to older people and people with learning difficulties, both within residential homes and in the community.
Successful candidates will be required to undertake an Enhanced DBS Check.
