Summary

Hours - 20 hours per week including most Sun am- Flexibility in actual hours, possible pattern Mon, Wed, Thurs, Sun.
Contract - Fixed Term for 2 years

Are you a committed Christian with a passion to see people of all generations worshipping together, growing in their relationships with one another, and in their faith in Jesus Christ?
Working from our Newquay corps you will work collaboratively with our corps (church) leaders to increase the intergenerational approach to mission and ministry. Acting as a bridge between the local community, schools, and the corps, this role will give acandidate opportunity to combine both creativity and experience in developing new and existing ministry to broaden the work across the generations.
Prioritising relationships over programmes, you will help people of all generations to discover a sense of value, identity, purpose and belonging within the corps setting.
You will work to develop a welcoming and safe space for all, intentionally creating opportunities for people of all generations to build positive relationships with each other and grow together as community.
You will also work with the Corps leader to lead intergenerational worship in which the faith of people of all ages can flourish.
This role has an occupational requirement that you must be a committed and practising Christian.
As well as being a good communicator with strong interpersonal and organisational skills, you will have:
• A good level of both spoken and written English and Numeracy at GCSE or NVQ level 2.• The ability to think and reflect theologically around mission and discipleship.• Good at bringing people of differing ages and beliefs together to share companionship
