Remoting working

An experienced PT Customer Hub Officer is required to work remotely and to check 50 claims per month between May and December, using systems such as RB live and Northgate NEC. There is a focus on accuracy, as evidenced by the Housing Benefits Accuracy Award. The successful candidate must be familiar with information systems such as RB line and document management systems to ensure compliance with DWP guidelines. Expertise in handling housing benefit claims, including processing, verifying income and capital details, and managing council tax reduction is required for this role as training time is limited, so the expectation is to hit the ground running in processing, verifying, and quality-checking benefit claims.

Key responsibilities:

Process, verify, and quality check housing benefit claims in accordance with DWP Housing Benefit Award Accuracy legislation & Guidelines.
Utilise expertise in housing benefit processing to verify income details, capital details, and council tax reduction eligibility.
Handle council benefits and claims efficiently, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
Conduct quality checks on 50 claims per month between May and December as required by DWP guidelines.
Navigate and utilise RB Live system and Northgate NEC system proficiently to check claims and provide accurate reports to the DWP.
Collaborate closely with team members to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to prescribed activities.

Experience:
