Summary

Fantastic opportunity offering great rates of pay that are paid into your account weekly!

We are looking for an experienced care assistant who has a strong history of working with elderly service users, learning and physical disabilities within a formal supported-living service / care home.

The service users are adults of varying ages so personal care is an aspect of the role, and you will be supporting the service users with day-to-day activities including leisure as well as cooking and some domestic duties.

Due to some of the service users having physical disabilities the candidate must have previous experience of the safe use of hoists and slings, some of the residents may also display some challenging behaviours.

If you are looking for something new that offers ongoing hours, with school friendly hours and no weekend working then this could be the role for you!

To be suitable for this position you must have:

- An Enhanced DBS Certificate that is registered on the update service
- Up to date mandatory training dated within the past 9 months
- A Practical Moving and Handling Certificate dated within the past 9 months
- Full up-to-date CV with employment history dating back to compulsory education
- At least 3 years referenceable experience working within formal care settings with residents living with learning disabilities and physical disabilities
- Be able to provide reference details for two previous care employers, including the most recent employer.
- Be available to work Monday to Friday for the hours stated

**Please note that we do not offer sponsorships**

This role offers immediate start opportunities depending on compliance documents being received in a timely manner and following a on-site interview.

The role is based on a 3 month rolling booking basis.

You will be working Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 15:00.

You will be paid a basic rate of £12.07 per hour, with holiday being accrued on an FTE basis (based upon the hours worked)
