This is a full-time and permanent position (37.5 hours per week). Typical hours of work are 10:00 – 18:00 Monday to Friday. Occasional weekend working will be required.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

Our team are at the heart of what we do, delivering thousands of fresh and chilled produce to hundreds of customers across the Highlands, every day. We want you to be comfortable using your own initiative and enjoy working within our awesome team.

This role will consist of:

  • Ensure all goods are stored and handled correctly.
  • Ensure stock is stored and used in the correct rotational/date order.
  • Check products for best/use by dates, ensuring products are moved through the business in the correct order.
  • Report any products which may be close to their best before date.
  • Report any goods arriving from suppliers which have been delivered with date issues, incorrect products, order quantities, damages etc.
  • Supply information to the buying team for stock control purposes.
  • Use the stock system to determine the levels of replenishment required and replenish accordingly.
  • Coordinate all storage areas to ensure all stock is taken for the purpose of stock taking and buying information.
  • Produce and present daily waste figures.
  • Ensure all stores/warehouses are checked daily for goods which may require immediate action.
  • Check system and print off expected GRN’s daily, to show what deliveries are expected each working day.
  • Operate and maintain a daily register of incoming goods.
  • Review goods in isolation on daily basis.
  • Maintain a clean and tidy work and yard area.
