Salary: BG9 £29,777- £32,076 to BG10 £33,024 - £36,648 (Dependant on experience) FTE, per annum, term time only (Actual approximate salary BG9 £26,457 - £28,499 to BG10 £29,468 to £32,701)Holymead Primary School is a three form entry school at the heart of its community in Brislington, South Bristol. We are looking for an experienced Office Manager and/or Administrator to manage our school office and administration team and support the School Business Manager in overseeing the administration of school business.
Purpose of the Job
• To oversee the daily administration of the school office on our Infant and Junior sites.
• To line manage our team of administrative staff.
• To manage, maintain, review and improve administrative systems.
• To identify key priorities and areas for improvement.
• To ensure the delivery of effective, efficient, responsive and professional front of house services and school administrative support services.
• To manage the school’s wraparound provision (breakfast and afterschool club).
• To manage the Holymead Hub community space, including external lettings and bookings.

• The ability to manage resources to ensure the daily operations of the administrative team are delivered effectively.
• The ability to lead a team including supporting colleagues with their professional development, holding colleagues to account and overseeing performance management for their team.
• The successful candidate will be empathetic, professional, highly organised, highly adaptable and flexible.
• The successful candidate will have a personal commitment to upholding the school’s code of conduct for employees and be committed to promoting Equity, Diversity and Inclusion.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and experience of managing Management Information Systems (or similar).
