Summary
We are seeking to employ an enthusiastic Midday Supervisor to join our team.
Claremont Primary and Nursery School serve a richly diverse community in the city of Nottingham and have a committed, hands-on and supportive SLT, a dedicated Pastoral and SEND team and a team of hardworking staff, resolute in raising standards to ensure our children reach their full potential.
We are looking for a cheerful, flexible team member to assist in the supervision of children both in the dining area and in play areas to ensure the orderly conduct, welfare and safety of pupils during school lunch breaks.
We are offering a 10 hour a week contract (Monday – Friday 11.30am – 1.30pm), term time only.
Job requirements and responsibilities:
Helping set the dining room up for lunch and clearing the dining room after lunch
To encourage dining arrangements that promotes an orderly and pleasant meals service for pupils.
Supervising the pupils whilst eating
To see that the dining areas are left clean and tidy and tables are clean for the next occupant
To ensure that any spillage is removed quickly
Supervising the playground and supporting games and play
Supervising pupils in classrooms during wet lunch-time
Dealing with minor first aid incidents
To deal with pupils’ behaviour problems in the dining room and elsewhere and report any serious incidents to the Senior Midday Supervisor.
