Full time and Part time opportunities available offering flexible hours (includes weekends)



We have some exciting opportunities to join our team in based in Lerwick. You’ll be part of our Cleaning team who work hard to provide a high-quality service within one of Transport’s flagship contracts NorthLink Ferries. In this role of Cleaning Assistant you will ensure a high level of cleanliness of the vessels, terminal buildings and other port facilities at all times.



Key Accountabilities


- Ensuring defects found within the Vessel are reported to line management
- Lost property must be dealt with according to Serco NorthLink lost property policies
- Ensure that the PPE provided is worn on duty
- Cleaning within a kitchen environment
- Working on a vessel prior to departure
- Cleaning within the terminal buildings as required and any other port facilities
- Making up cabins and beds daily
- Ensure all Serco Essentials and E -learning is completed and up to date.
- Any other duties as required by the cleaning supervisor and Passenger Service Officer
- Responsibilities will vary according to the requirements of the business
