The role of Insurance Development Manager - Motor Insurance is responsible for delivering new insurance propositions and products via third party Insurance providers. Reporting into the Head of Product, this role will support Product Manager's with detailed analysis, research and commercial evaluations and lead on Go-to-Market plans for new features, propositions and technical integrations.
About the role
- Support the Product Manager to deliver the product strategy and roadmap; working closely with both internal stakeholders and third party insurance partners.
- Responsible for supporting the delivery of Insurance products, propositions and campaigns; and integration between insurers and VWFS / VWG digital assets and journeys.
- Responsible for managing the rollout launch and Go-to-Market for new features, propositions and campaigns
- Act as a conduit to multiple areas of the business to support the delivery of new features, propositions and products that meet both brand and retailer requirements.
- Support the Product Manager in the day-to-day management of activities.
- Support the Product Manager with the delivery of robust insight studies to validate propositions and their objectives against customer needs, regulations and business objectives.
- Provide support Product Manager's with the development of commercial business cases in order to understand the impact of innovative product development and changes to existing products
- Responsible for post launch performance reviews
- Build effective relationships with Group brands and our third party insurance partners to ensure high levels of collaboration and optimisation.
- Identify and recommend new features and propositions to enhance our product portfolio and add value to our customers.
- Identify and recommend opportunities to integrate with the VWFS & VW Group product ecosystem.
- Be the voice of the customer; ensuring that new products and commercially led programmes have the customer at the heart of them.
