We are seeking a Progress Coach to support our 16-19-year-old students on their learning journey. This role would be a great opportunity for recent graduates or those with a range of diverse life experiences who can be an advocate for students as they make progress on their Study Programme.

The key requirements of the role are:

  • To provide pastoral support to 16-18 Study Programme students in all aspects of their learning journey; in their attendance, personal goal setting and development, achievement and progression.
  • To deliver tutorial content to 16-18-year-old Study Programme students, and contribute to the development of the tutorial programme
  • To liaise with Curriculum and Support staff to advocate for students so they get the right support at the right time, to keep them on track
  • Be able to work well as part of a team and collaborate with others. 
  • Be a good listener, facilitator of learning, motivator, advocate and role model 

As this is a student-facing role, the successful candidates will be able to demonstrate good communication skills, show empathy, be an active listener, value diversity, a motivator of others and be able to role model professionalism. A basic level of digital literacy is essential to access and use our college systems. You will work collaboratively with groups of students, curriculum and business support teams, parents/carers and on a 1-1 basis with students to ensure they achieve and progress to their next steps.

We can offer flexible working arrangements, for example full-time, substantial part-time, term-time only, school-friendly hours. Due to the student-facing aspect of this role it is campus-based, at one of our two campuses.
