The National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) Manchester Clinical Research Facility (CRF)

We are looking for a motivated and dynamic individual to take on the role of the CRF Education and Training Practitioner.

The Manchester CRF provides opportunities for people of all ages and backgrounds across Greater Manchester to take part in research.

Hosted by Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust in partnership with The Christie NHS Foundation Trust and the Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust, the Manchester CRF is the largest and most comprehensive of the 28 NIHR Clinical Research Facilities, enhancing translation of scientific advances through experimental research.

Manchester CRF operates six world-class facilities based at NHS teaching hospitals across Greater Manchester delivering a diverse range of cutting edge, early phase experimental medicine studies for adults and children at:

• Manchester Royal Infirmary
• North Manchester General Hospital
• Royal Manchester Children's Hospital
• Salford Royal Hospital

As the Education and Training Practitioner you will work in partnership with the MCRF senior management team and with the individual MCRF site management teams and will be responsible for ensuring the provision of high-quality training and education across the MCRF.

You will ensure that the professional development needs of the MCRF workforce are met by supporting and taking responsibility for aspects of MCRF education strategies through the delivery of education and training programmes and will act as an exemplary role model for learners.

You will work across MCRF partner organisations and will liaise with the newly established NWCRF Alliance to maximise training opportunities.

The scope of the role also extends to supporting the NIHR Manchester CRF's Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Strategy.
