Summary
Job Title: Credit Controller - Finance Shared Service Centre
Location: Corporate Head Office, Carrington, Manchester
Role Overview: As a Credit Controller within the Finance Shared Service Centre (FSSC), you'll play a pivotal role in maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. This position demands a proactive, diligent individual who thrives on effective communication and collaboration, supporting operations across the UK & Ireland.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pursue payment for aged debts from a diverse portfolio of customers, utilising various communication channels.
- Allocate and reconcile cash across multi-currency debtor accounts.
- Promptly record customer disputes on work flow systems and communicate them to regional contacts.
- Collaborate with internal teams to swiftly resolve customer disputes and account issues.
- Implement and manage work-flow strategies to monitor and address aged debt, maximising cash collection.
- Prepare weekly and monthly reporting packs within specified deadlines.
- Contribute as a team member towards achieving group targets and objectives.
- Assist in managing strategic risk within the department.
Candidate Profile:
- Excellent communicator with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- A team player capable of quickly establishing rapport and relationships.
- Deadline-oriented, capable of delivering results in a dynamic finance environment.
- Flexible mindset, open to adapting to new processes and procedures.
- Proficient in Excel; experience with SAP is advantageous.
