Summary
You will be expected to be an effective leader and role model, providing direct clinical care as well as leading and developing standards and practices within the unit. You should have the ability to motivate and inspire your team ensuring a collaborative approach to the delivery of excellent nursing care. You will be working alongside other staff members to maximise inpatient activity, considering the aspects of capacity and flow. The optimisation of this unit will aid wider recovery and restoration work, within the specialities. An understanding of patient confidentiality and the ability to prioritise workloads in view of changing priorities are essential. The position is also responsible for the general clerical duties with the department.
