Summary
The role of the Workforce Development Co-ordinator is a part time position with Sefton Training Hub and will provide administrative support based within South Sefton PCN across the following business areas: Work with Clinical and non-clinical leads to organise, arrange, and facilitate Protected Learning Time (PLT) training sessions that are provided to GP practices. Work with the Training Hub, Clinical / Non-clinical leads and PCN Managers to deliver effective workforce planning, training, and development across our practices and PCN services. To develop knowledge of the education and training development resources from HEE to maximise opportunities to share with the workforce in order to benefit Primary Care Network workforce development. To help develop and organise training and induction packages and support the delivery alongside the Management and Clinical Leads. Understand the core functions of the Cheshire & Merseyside Training Hub e.g. apprenticeships, preceptorships. To establish close and supportive working relationships with Practice Manager Leads, GPA / HCA Lead and Admin / Care Navigator Lead to enable a comprehensive and well-planned education programme for General Practice staff. Principal Job Responsibilities: The job responsibilities of the co-ordinator include but are not limited to: Provide admin support to South Sefton PCN management teams in workforce development across our practices. Provide clerical and admin support to the Training Hub Manager. Provide admin support to the Clinical and Non-clinical leads in developing and delivering training. Schedule and organise meetings and venues/on-line links for internal and external meetings including agendas and other resources where appropriate. Support Clinical leads in the timely completion of assigned actions. Liaise with the PCN Managers, Practice Managers, and teams across our Sefton demographics. Create and update content for a cloud-based intranet system (TeamNet) which is used to communicate to company staff and GP practice staff across the Primary Care Networks and Cheshire & Merseyside Training Hub. Organising venues for PLT, including equipment hire and refreshments, overseeing booking and recording attendance, gathering feedback questionnaires, and providing analysis to support future PLT arrangements. Assisting the Finance Officer with invoicing duties in relation to PLT sessions. Undertake any other additional corporate duties as agreed in conjunction with PCN Managers.
