Summary
(Applicants must have experience of driving both manual & Automatic vehicles)
Hours of Work: 8.00am – 6.00pm Monday to Friday with one hour for lunch each day.
Salary £27,939 per annum.
THE ROLE
To ensure the movement or delivery of vehicles on or off site is carried out in a safe and responsible manner. You will be responsible for the parking on site to ensure availability for customers at all time. You must be an experienced Driver and have had some Customer Service experience.
NON EXHAUSTIVE DUTIES INCLUDE:
To control all vehicle movement and parking on site. Moving and parking vehicles as necessary in a safe and responsible manner. To keep the vehicle parking entrance clear at all times allowing enough room to remove a particular vehicle where possible.
To ensure the parking area is kept clean and tidy and free from refuse at all times and arrange vehicles that are parked in the allotted areas in a neat and tidy manner.
To ensure that all site and customers’ vehicles are treated with care and attention at all times especially when parking and / or driving off site. Ensure adequate safety and security procedures to protect the vehicle.
To collect cars and deliver to our vehicle compound
Any other ad hoc duties / projects as required by the Manager.
THE PERSON:
Experienced in driving both manual and automatic vehicles
Must hold a valid UK driving licence
Well presented and have good communication skills to be able to interact with staff and customers.
Friendly, flexible and committed to being a valuable member of the team.
