We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Recovery Support Worker to join our friendly mental health recovery service in Redditch, Worcestershire.

Our experienced staff team supports individuals with mental health needs. The service supports individuals to stepdown from hospital settings and to build their confidence, daily living skills and wellbeing, so they can live independently in the community.

The Senior Recovery Support Worker will support the Supported Living Co-ordinator in managing the service. You will be a highly motivated individual who can manage their own time and manage tasks within the team to ensure the effective delivery of high-quality support.

Senior Recovery Support Worker Duties:

• Supervising, managing and mentoring a team of staff
• Developing and sustaining warm and trusting relationships with service users
• Supporting the Supported Living Co-ordinator to manage multi-agency working to ensure consistency and a coordinated service support is provided to all
• Enabling service users to gain independence, confidence and competence in areas, such as social skills/relationships, personal care and hygiene, daily living and many more
• Supporting service users with the activities they enjoy in and around the Leicester area
• Working on a rota basis, covering 7 days a week

As this is a senior position, it is essential that you have experience of supporting individuals with mental health needs. You must be able to demonstrate a positive ‘can do’ attitude and a drive to make a positive difference to the lives of others.
