Summary

We have an exciting opportunity to recruit a number of experienced Repairs Schedulers for a Social Housing provider based in the North West. This is a 40 hour per-week contract, working 8am to 5pm with a 1-hour lunch break and will have the opportunity to work hybrid from home 2/3 days per week after initial training is completed in the office for approx 4 weeks.


Your new role

  • Day to day planning for all resources and work streams in a designated area, liaising with contractors, clients and customers to schedule required remedial work and ensuring a professional maintenance service is provided at all times.
  • Manage work priorities, develop job plans, define parts and materials, define skills, and develop a safe, effective and efficient work control plan.
  • Ensure customer/client communication regarding scheduled or appointed ongoing work.
  • Working with other schedulers to ensure the best utilisation of available resources, and monitoring reports to maintain work levels within stated performance levels.
  • Working with suppliers & stores to manage van stock usage, ensuring the most effective route for operatives and verifying all materials, tools, information and labour are available prior to scheduling.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Minimum 12 months' planning/scheduling experience
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise a busy & reactive workload.
  • Ability to manage conflicting priorities whilst under pressure.
  • Strong communication skills and can work well to own initiative and as part of a team.
  • Proficient IT knowledge and understanding.
  • Ability to attend office for initial 4 weeks' training in Warrington, and an appropriate home work space when working from home.
